There has been a mill at Saxtead Green probably since the thirteenth century, and over the last couple of hundred years the mill has been rebuilt and modified. It was in use as a mill until 1947 and was refurbished to its current splendour in 1957. Here it's looking splendid as it catches the afternoon sun against a passing April storm in the distance, with oilseed rape just starting to flower in the forground.
