Latest daffodils

The last of our pure yellow daffodils to emerge in the spring is this lemon yellow beauty. Admitedly the others have a head start, because these bulbs are planted in a cold, shady spot on the north side of the house, which is only just starting to get the sun now. It's in full view from the dining room table, and I look forward to seeing it finally open every year.
