Viburnum, begonia and bee lavender

The lovely white clusters of flowers on this viburnum are surrounded by dark green foliage, but in some years the foliage disappears within weeks of appearing, consumed by the caterpillar of a type of moth. You can already see holes in the leaves even at this early stage. Next up are the perpetual flowering begonias, living up to their name; and finally, in the herb garden some bee lavenders are not only looking splendid, but also attracting bees that are brave enough to venture out in the cold and wet summer days we are having this year.
