The October Garden

Never a particularly convincing green, the wisteria is now starting to turn a definite yellow.
A katydid with very long horns nestles on a Rosa rugosa hip.

The flowering cherry produces its second show of the year - autumn leaves.

Our wild cherry is also looking spectacular.
The last roses of summer covered in dew.

The blueberry is also a brilliant orange, with a few blueberries still surviving.

Himalayan honeysuckle (Leycesteria formosa) with pendulant dark red berries.

A very handsome cat surveys the hedge for any stray rodents.
